Overall turnout was a lot lower than I expected, considering the beautiful weather (for August). I suppose lots of people are mid-vacation right now. The ship & siege battles didn't happen, sadly, but the fighting was good and Otto will attest to the fact that it was perfect arching weather!

I do hope to see many more of you at the next event I make!

well f**k a duck.
i thought they were on saturdays, and spoke with my boss before leaving to see if i could work on sundays instead....grr.   i will def not make the event this weekend, but hopefuly the next one. too many new things going on at once, new job, new experiences (giving an enema to four dogs in one day....yah, i could have done without that one) new hobbies such as darkon...if i explode, i'll make sure my new weapons get to you guys lol.

just started a new job, and the bashtards have me working every saturday for the next two months. I get off work at 430 near fort totten metro, so my question is, till what time do day events usualy go? does it even make sense for me to get to the event by around 530? I'm not sure what the final status was/is on any of them, but the buckler proposals in Senate were to tackle these problems:

- "armor-shaped" bucklers
- unbeatable armor
- upper-arm bucklers

I heard the final or the counter proposal was to clarify that bucklers on lighted limbs don't count, I think they were reduced to 2 shieldbreak hits. Can't remember if Andrick's "no shoulder bucklers" thing passed or not.

Perhaps our Senators would like to post...???
